In a nutshellVaried backgrounds and a shared passion for excellence characterize of our energetic team. Networking machines without networking people would be the ultimate irony. The Dynamic Network Services family is a closely knit group. Our members have different backgrounds and interests but we all agree on reliability and engineering excellence. This group dynamic, where business relationships and friendships overlap, has been key to our success since our inception. We may have grown since 1998 but working in harmony is still one of our core principles.
Tom Daly is the guru of everything servers, network, and anycast. Chief Technology Officer since 2002, President since 2005, Tom has been the driving force behind many of our innovations over the past few years and ensures nothing but the very best comes out of our doors.
Often Tom is found typing furiously on his big-screen terminal at HQ, surveying Internet routes and carriers, all whilst monitoring the performance of all production systems. Building the best possible network and keeping it that way is not a set and forget affair. Otherwise, Tom can be found working with teams of class-act developers and engineers, working on what could be the next great upgrade to DNS management.
Tom packs ten years of professional experience in the field of computer networks. He graduated from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2004 with a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He completed this near-faultless renaissance-man background by graduating in 2007 from the Greater Manchester Leadership Program, a cause dear to us all.
"El Presidente", as the team fondly calls him, blends corporate management skill with technical expertise. Could one dream of a better combination?
Jeremy Hitchcock made it through our doors as an unpaid shipper, putting big black boxes into hollow cardboard ones. With such a start, boxes were bound to follow him: he is now thinking outside of them and ticking them all right.
Chief Financial Officer since 2002, Chief Executive Officer since 2005, Today, he defines the company's strategy, both engineering and otherwise, and attends to its legal, social and financial needs.
Armed with a B.S. in Management Information Systems from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, he quickly joined entrepreneurial organizations such as the Venture Forum and the Collaborative for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, helping students and young people build a success of their very own.
An active member of the entrepreneur community, he is a 2006 Greater Manchester Leadership Program graduate and sits on the boards of both the Amoskeag Business Incubator and the West High Endowment Fund. Finally, Jeremy is an active Rotarian and an officer on the Manchester Young Professional Network board of directors.
Team workWe know every member of our three core teams is essential to our success. We believe customer support is the front line and the last line for all our users, from free to corporate. This team of six is dedicated to answering every single inquiry, whether by telephone or e-mail, as soon as it makes it through the front door. Part Alex Trebeck, they will stand by our patrons and take them by the hand until each and every single one of their problems is utterly, entirely and perfectly solved. Our industry leading SLAs and Premier Support agreements ensure our users who desire or require 24 x 7 availability can call upon us any time, day or night, regardless of the time zone, and find their questions answered with a genuine, knowing smile.
Mathematicians meet engineers meet user experience specialists. Our developers stand behind our almost 600,000 lines of custom code and keep devising deviously original ways to solve new problems, improve upon existing solutions and reduce the number of clicks from start to finish. They don't go around speaking Perl but they would if they could and writing the cleanest, most robust possible code is their obsession. At night, they dream of cool new research tools for our Lab venture, and devise new uses for Open Source technologies.
Think of them as the super heros of virtual plumbing. Our operations team is comprised of adrenaline junkies who feel naked without their pagers. They may not jump between buildings suspended on self-destructing threads but they will stop short of nothing to ensure your data flows freely across the world, regardless of time, date, weather and fever. When they are not busy keeping the earth on its axis, they invent ways for our network to heal itself faster and better and play a key role in keeping us on top of our industry.
The Dynamic Network Services machine is a well-oiled, smooth running mechanism, made possible by the knowledge, dedication and experience of every single one of its members. To us, working in harmony and synergy is not only a goal, it is a reality.
