In a nutshellWe do our best to help our community, even if it means getting out of our comfort zone and learning new things. When City Hall calls, you reply, especially if they call about involving you in a vast research program aimed at facilitating communications in your area. Impossible you say? Not quite. The city of Manchester commissioned Dynamic Network Services over traditional civil engineering bureaus to help plan and understand the municipality's telecom needs. We said yes; we went to work, and happiness ensued.
Networking and telecom may not be the exact same sciences but our work requires us to have a firm grip on both. We know our copper, so to speak, as well as the software and hardware that comprises large telecommunication infrastructures. Our experience in building one of this world's most stable and largest networks also gives us an unmatched ability to plan and account for the disruptions that are bound to arise in a challenging urban environment. After all, few companies boast a president who can tell you exactly how long a packet takes to go from New York to Singapore, based on your peering agreements!
Last speakingNetworking machines is of no use if you can't network people. Have you ever tried explaining networking to an accountant? And has an accountant ever told you all about tax reports? Unless something is your job, wrapping your mind around it can be tough. Thanks to our extensive experience in guiding users through setting up their network and business, we were able to facilitate communication between city officials and telecom engineers. In our capacity as support providers and IT specialists, we speak both languages fluently.
At Dynamic Network Services, we act both as engineers and as business partners to some of the world's most prominent and most resourceful companies, like CNN Networks, Breitling or the Mozilla Foundation. This unique double position means our expertise goes beyond theoretical networking knowledge and extends well into its practical and business uses. We know how much a network costs and we know how to keep it growing, organically and sustainably.
By going back to our basics and relying on our extensive experience, we were able to provide the City of Manchester with a unique report detailing the telecom infrastructure and provide city officials with insights on the business, technical and practical sides of the project.
