Pushing the envelope for our community

In a nutshellWe do our best to help our community, even if it means getting out of our comfort zone and learning new things. When City Hall calls, you reply, especially if they call about involving you in a vast research program aimed at facilitating communications in your area. Impossible you say? Not quite. The city of Manchester commissioned Dynamic Network Services over traditional civil engineering bureaus to help plan and understand the municipality's telecom needs. We said yes; we went to work, and happiness ensued.

Understanding telecom

Networking and telecom may not be the exact same sciences but our work requires us to have a firm grip on both. We know our copper, so to speak, as well as the software and hardware that comprises large telecommunication infrastructures. Our experience in building one of this world's most stable and largest networks also gives us an unmatched ability to plan and account for the disruptions that are bound to arise in a challenging urban environment. After all, few companies boast a president who can tell you exactly how long a packet takes to go from New York to Singapore, based on your peering agreements!

Understanding users

Last speakingNetworking machines is of no use if you can't network people. Have you ever tried explaining networking to an accountant? And has an accountant ever told you all about tax reports? Unless something is your job, wrapping your mind around it can be tough. Thanks to our extensive experience in guiding users through setting up their network and business, we were able to facilitate communication between city officials and telecom engineers. In our capacity as support providers and IT specialists, we speak both languages fluently.

Understanding business
